Just shows his belief that the general public is so naive and foolish that he can manipulate us at his every whim...

Unfortunately for us, it appears he is right. We sheepdogs are becoming more and more of a minority these days. And the sheep keep running to the side of the wolf for comfort. I just wish he'd slit their throats a bit more obviously so maybe a few would wake up and join us sheepdogs. That groundswell would make me proud but I get the feeling i"m waiting for the impossible to happen.

I really wonder if the White House will be stupid/irresponsible enough to ignore the pleas of many, in and out of the NRA, to provide actual, real and tactile security at schools - or at least provide them that choice. Best yet leave that up to the states since the Fed Govt will never in a million years get something like that right. Somebody else will (unfortunately) surely blow a gasket in the near future and then what do they take away?

You can feel the "military rifle" backlash coming from the Edith Bunkers' of the world. "Oh, my, those things look TERRIBLE".Let's forget what old grand dad's 870 Wingmaster can do loaded up with XXX buckshot - it looks friendly enough. It has a wood stock.........what's that you say, 10 .32 caliber projectiles flying outta that thing at once? HOW many shells does it hold in it's "clip"?

Regarding WalMart bashing- C&P from the same news source quoted earlier- reported Monday that Walmart had suspended further ammunition orders until the findings of the Biden gun-control task force are released.

To set the record straight: Walmart tells that the store's ammunition policy has not changed.

"We continue to offer that product to our customers and you know, we'll continue to do so," Kory Lundberg, a Walmart spokesman, told us on Tuesday. "We haven't made any changes in the product mix in that category."

Walmart continues to stock and sell ammo in its stores, he confirmed.

And in areas of the country where Wal-Mart sells ammunition and firearms, "We're committed to do so responsibly and safely," Lundberg said. "We certainly understand there are sportsmen and hunters out there who use these products responsibly, and we want to continue to meet their needs while also continuing to make sure that we're selling these products in a safe and responsible manner."

In other Wal-Mart news on Tuesday: The company announced that Walmart and Sam's Club will buy an additional $50 billion in U.S. products over the next ten years.

The company said it plans to grow U.S. manufacturing on two fronts: by increasing what it already buys here (categories such as sporting goods, apparel basics, storage products, games and paper products) - and by helping to "onshore" U.S. production in areas such as textiles, furniture and higher-end appliances.

"We are meeting with our suppliers on domestic manufacturing and are making a strong commitment to move this forward," Walmart President and CEO Bill Simon said in a news release.

And beginning on Memorial Day, Walmart says it will offer a job to any honorably discharged veteran within 12 months of that veteran leaving active duty.

The company projects that it will hire more than 100,000 veterans over the next five years.
What we have here is... failure- to communicate.
