Default Here we go again...

http://hotair.com/archives/2012/03/16/enviros-petition-epa-to-ban-lead-in-ammunition-again/

Quote:
Citing risks to birds and to human health, roughly 100 environmental groups formally asked the federal Environmental Protection Agency this week to ban or at least impose limits on lead in the manufacturing of bullets and shotgun pellets for hunting or recreation...
Hey, enough already. I'm going to "formally" ask the EPA to go piss up a rope.

Quote:
They’re not interested in protecting the environment from lead; they want to use the EPA to make it much more difficult and expensive for gun owners to buy ammunition by having the agency seize the authority to regulate a key component of firearms.

Oh that's funny, I don't see these "environmental" groups standing against the pesticides used in agriculture, Monsanto's GMOs and all the crazy regulations against organic farmers. These guys are hell bent on destroying our freedoms, once again for our safety.

"go piss up a rope" could be the funniest thing I've read today. I'm stealing it!

I could think of a better way for them to use a rope.

I really feel that waterfowling should be done with a non-lead shot but last thing anyone needs is more regulation on ammo

The whole intent is a poorly disguised attempt to stop hunting. Jerks dont know about copper bullets which are readily available. What it will do in the short term is put more people out of work while the factories change over then it will be business as usual. The price of lead will drop and copper will go higher. These are probably the same people that falsified data to shut down the Oregon logging industry and will lie again. There are some really radical people in these groups and some are classified as Eco-Terrorists.

That would involve a tree and they might hurt it.
