I will this morning contact via email or U.S. Postal Service the gun companies in New York and Connecticut (Freedom Group, Kimber, Colt, Ruger, Stag, and others I can find) with this sincere message:

I am a customer/future customer of your firearms. However, I cannot in good conscience support a state government who is determined to take away the rights of its citizens, and by doing so, starting a trend that could spread to other states or the federal government. Accordingly, I will not purchase a firearm or related accessory or part made in the state where your products are currently manufactured. As much as I may admire your
products, there are competing, high quality goods made in other states.

Thank you.

Guns? What guns? Oh, I haven't seen those since I left my garage door open one night by mistake.

Default What ???

Just for clarification...although they are the umbrella company for other manufacturers... Freedom Group is headquartered in Madison, North Carolina; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_Group and owned in and of itself by Cerberus Capital (for now... they are looking to divest and/or sell).... And Nawth Cakalackee is VERY pro-gun.
