On appeal the case should be thrown out of court. In an article I read the judge was woefully uninformed about firearms and ammunition. In a higher court the defense will bring in a firearms expert to clear up any misinformation. The defendant is motivated to clear up this matter. He said a conviction could affect his ability to get a better job.
