Wow, this turned south in a hurry...
I hope all realize that the same set of laws that protect the "cracker" haters and flag burners are the ones that give us the right to bear arms. The difference is in how the enforcers of the laws (Executive Branch) decide to enforce them.
As to the OP's question. Carter's Administration bordered on appeasement, but not in the current manner. Klinton nearly dismantled our military and made us vulnerable. This POTUS along with his Progressive/Socialist/Communist agenda is the likes never seen before. Lest anyone think that it can change in one election (this November), think again. Thanks to those who throw their votes to any candidate or party that has no chance of winning, we can sit and biatch about our situation. It will keep happening again and again, and unless the conservatives take about 80 seats this November, it will not change. The POTUS will still have his majority and the agenda will keep flowing down the Socialist river. Before it is said and done, he will have no less than 3 Supreme Court appointments, Congress and a vast welfare minded voter base in his breast pocket. And, the Republicans will be to blame when that happens because conservatives will not agree on any one candidate to back that can pull the mugwumps.

Addendum:
Scream inequality in racism all you good people want. That and a dollar won't even get you a cup of coffee these days. (black or with cream) Gripe and gripe, but we have a situation at hand that won't change soon and will never change since there are so many conservatives who like to sit back and feel high and mighty because they vote "Libertarian" and expect the right to move left and the left to go away.

Alas, i fear that crusher is right. My heart is with the libertarians, but they WILL NOT win. So. Every vote for the libertarians is a vote for the Dems. I voted for the Libertarian in the Alaska senate race, because I could NOT vote for Ted Stevens and his 7 felony convictions. Lots of others did the same. Not our fault, Ted could have withdrawn and let us elect a Reub, but he didn't. Result, Mark Begich got elected and gave Obama his 60th vote in the senate. Boy am I a schmuck.

Well all i have to say about the racism crap is. Glad you guys caught the bus, only took you a couple years. Everyone in the knoxville maryville alcoa area in east TN has been rilled up about racism for a couple years now ever sence....
In short a bunch of black people gang raped tortured murdered 2 white people... you can look it up for more details its to gruesome to recap here....anyway, the government tried to give them special treatment and not make it a national news matter because they were black, so the white people around here have been waiting on the blacks to do something stupid, it almost happened a couple months ago when they started spray painting "blacks rule kill all whites down with crackers" on peoples houses. All i know is if the sh@# ever does htf, the ever growing kkk groups down here are going to have alot of work on there hands, and i would say that there wont be to many black people left. I'm not saying thats a good thing because it is not a good thing, it is a bad thing, but its also the truth.

My suspicions for the near future are,
More voter intimidations around the voting polls, in the homes, and the liberal news.
Osamaobama will win re-election by some default.
This mid term will be a devastating blow to this administration, but osamaobama and his loyal followers in our legislature will counter the will of the people by some executive order or some law passed in congress that will make all mid term elections null and void. Re-instating the losers back to their position of rule. All the while they will decry it as a mandate of some kind.
The LEO’s will be ordered to stand down where black on white violence is concerned.
Contrary to the Supreme Court, national gun bans and restrictions will be put in place with in the next 6 years.
This social-ist administration will bow to the U.N.
This administration will declare America as an official social-ist state.
Any and all dissenting voices will be stifled.
The arrest and imprisoning of any political decent supporter will be forth coming.
The 5 members of the Supreme Court that rule semi-Constitutionally will have tragic accidents or be arrested and thrown in jail with out a trial or by decree of a kangaroo court.
Other then that it may be a dull next 6 years

An EO is not the final word. Congress can either pass legislation that is in conflict with an EO and the new law takes precedence over the EO, or it can choose not fund whatever the EO pertains to.
Courts can (and have) overturn an EO, but this doesn't happen very often.
There's also state nullification. State legislatures have the authority to judge the constitutionality of the federal government’s laws and decrees and refuse to obey them if they are deemed unconstitutional.

New and Improved with twice the hate!
They want to kill white crackers, no shit, I saw it on TV and the nappy headed, rasta rowed spokesman wants to kill day baby's??
What's that all about?

My dad and I were talking about that just yesterday. Can you imagine what would happen if I ran around screaming that we need to kill ****** babies? The double standard for racism is unbelievable and the tension is growing. Barry hasn't brought the races together, he has pushed them further apart and will continue to divide this nation not only by race but with this upcoming tax hike that will push more people into poverty and grow the welfare state.

I was in Germany from 77 to 78 and watched as during the Peanut Farmer's (Carter) "reign" the dollar to mark conversion rate went from 2 marks 46 to the dollar to 1 mark 52 to the dollar. Carter did some economic damage to this country but nothing compared to the scope that Obozo has done in less than 2 years.
Then you've got this bulls**t from Obozo during a speech here in Las Vegas while stumping for Pinkie's (Reid) reelection:
Quote:
|
The president cast the upcoming elections as a choice between the party he said caused the economic meltdown and the one that's fixing it, seizing on a populist, sharply partisan theme for the critical November midterms.
|
Unless I've forgotten, the Democrat Party had control of Congress since 2007 so aren't they just as responsible, or even more so, than the Republicans? And wasn't Obozo a Senator voting for those same destructive Democratic proposals?? He conveniently "forgets" to mention that s**t.....

BKT, thanks,I knew you'd be the man to answer that.
There is no doubt we are careening down a path to destruction, destruction of everything true Americans hold dear. Ours will be a very slippery slope come election time. I fear that the future of our Republic will be in the balance, begining in Nov. If we fail to win the majority in congress in nov, I feel we will be in for some very...difficult(?)... times ahead.

Has this ever been done before? I'm thinking Arizona might work something like this after bho grants citizenship to 1.5 million illegals.
