I remember that summer and the gas prices across the country or a least from Virginia to south Texas in late July I didn't see any prices that high but I did see prices as high $3.85 but "W" didn't have anything to do with that don't forget he was dealing with a Democrat majority... just sayin

Are you sure it wasn't closer to September? IIRC, there was refinery outages due to hurricanes that reduced the availability of some refined fuel products in the southeast.

Ron Paul as president and Allen as VP.

Imagine the two of them putting their heads together. Economics and foreign experience between the two would be outstanding!!!!
