Caved? I don't think so. It seems to me that there is really not much to say at this point, so they did not say much. This is a game of poker, and it won't do to show your cards, even to NRA members. Remember that movie, Bowling for Columbine? Good old Mike Moore paid for a lifetime membership in the NRA as one of his tricks. He probably still has it, and I have no doubt that he and many other anti-gunners pay very close attention to everything put out by the NRA, whether it is for public consumption or not.

Oh, and the Sidwell Friends school where the Obama girls attend has, I believe, 17 full-time armed guards on campus. The Obamas have their own additional SS detail too. The NRA was not referring to them.

I'm usually more of an "active" club member. I have no problem chipping in extra when its in need. Hell, can't tell you how much I've put into the NRA

Not bad 250,000 new NRA members in 2 weeks. Oh and 2 guys who don't misunderstand political statements. I wish the Ky. Derby had those odds.

WHITE HOUSE = JOKE!

I thought the same exact thing. OBAMA IS A JOKE. BIDEN IS A JOKE.

I'm still not seeing how the NRA caved. What would you have them do? Call for Civil War?

Right now the EO's amount to a lot of rhetoric and some give Obama an excuse to SPEND MORE TAX MONEY! His favorite past time really so no surprise.

The battle is not over. These EO's are pointless and I expect a lot of them to go unfunded, unenforced, or outright repealed when the next POTUS takes office.

We just need to make sure Congress does not pass ANY new laws. Nothing they are suggesting would have stopped Sandy Hook. The second they suggest a law that will make my children safer it will have my support. I just have yet to see any such law.
