Has the NRA responded yet to CT shootings?
I'm sure a lot will be riding on the NRA with regards to response to possbile discussions of gun reform/control, assault waepons bans, etc. I haven't seen anything from them or on their website. I've seen info from ISRA here in IL, I've read info from Ted Nugent, etc. Any ideas? Are they preparing for the fight of their lives here?

Nothing yet as far as I know. Nothing on the websites, FB pages, press releases, etc.
Silence. Which is in good taste considering 20 kids ages 6 and 7 and staff were just slaughtered by an AR-15 and 2 pistols. Timing is everything fellas.

Good to know everyone. I can definitely understand their silence out of respect for the departed. I am still very sad of this senseless act. I have a 1st grader myself and he and my older daughter are my life...

Unlike the antis, NRA doesn't make political hay out of tragedy and dance in the blood of victims.

I'm really hating the media making a circus out of the CT situation. Leave these people alone to grieve for Christ Sake, especially the CNN crew. I am no longer a CNN fan, especially that Piers Morgan guy. Go back to England Pierce. You don't have to live in the USA.

He really pissed me off too. I actually enjoyed SOME of his interviews and type of guests (most times)....specially my 3rd party hero Jesse Ventura. He allowed JEsse to indulge in a lot of his crazy conspiracies (that arent so crazy it seems) and was a good sport.
But when he had 2 NRA lobbyists on recently and literally DROWNED them out with shouting and showing pics of the same AR-15 screaming at him that they shouldnt be allowed for sale in America.....I had to turn it off.
Some people seriously just dont get it. Now, I stand alone somewhat in that I do believe there are things that could and should be done when purchasing guns that wouldnt infringe on responsible gun owners like us, and could help combat crime. Anyways, its just a sad time in our country right now. Lot is going on and things are changing.

For those that have been wondering (myself included), here is an interim answer to the OP's question.
