Default Hard To Believe.

I Have seen some posts on this forum implying that the government had something to do with the tragic events in Connecticut. Some sort of government conspiracy i can't believe that some on this forum actually believe such BS. They really are not helping their pro gun views with such rubbish. People reading such views will be thinking if they are headcases.

You'd be shocked at what this government can do and has done and is still doing. Not to lean one way or another on this issue. But this ain't Uncle Sam anymore.

Assuming you are correct and our government would never do anything wrong for political or financial gain. We are left with one option when looking at things like fast and furious and the recent events including the atf agents gun ending up in Mexico, we are a nation of incompetence. Do you prefer that conclusion?

Thank goodness there weren't any conspiracy theories about Dunblane!

Confidence in the integrity of the government in the US is not high, and
government allowing or causing citizens to die for "the greater good" is
nothing new. Churchill and the bombing of Coventry strike a chord?

I don't trust anyone I'm not paranoid but I have never met anyone who isn't capable of lying. Only rely on ones self.

You got something wrong, confidence in our government is only very low in places where very conservative people hang out. If you will remember, just a few short weeks ago, there was enough confidence in our government to re-elect the POTUS. If, God forbid, the economy continues to improve, the confidence will continue to grow. Maybe that is why the Tea Party is fighting to take us over the cliff, if we fail, they look good.

I have no doubt that governments do wrong things. I don't see what motive and what they would get being involved in such events.

What greater good would come out of the events in Connecticut.
