Default Habeas Corpus? We Don't Need No Stinkin' Habeas Corpus!

Prison Planet.com » Senate Moves To Allow Military To Intern Americans Without Trial

Yeah,yeah.
I know.

Its Alex Jones again, but before you go off (you know who you are) demeaning the messenger, take a look at the message and what its about, and who it cites.

This is a REAL bill of legislation, with REAL congress-critters talking about it in the context of the issue at hand.

The pressitutes in the Pravda main stream media couldn't -and wouldn't- do any better in presenting an issue.

This has been covered by sources other than Alex Jones. This is not good news.

bkt- if I could ask you to take the time to reference these other sources please?

It would help with the issue because not too many people are thrilled with the credibility of Mr.Jones(although,as I continue to point out,its not like the credibility of most major news agencies is any better).

I do find that corroborating reports from many sources tends to negate any issue of credibility at all.

And no,it is NOT good news.

We are literally witnessing the same as Germans in the 1930's witnessed, these new "laws" are nothing short of the infamous Nazi "enabling laws".

Just google detain americans indefinitely and you'll get a bunch of hits. Ron Paul, Gerald Celente and others were talking about this. There are links that refer to this here, http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=615_1322288745, and

Look around and you'll find it. Just read the text of sb-3081.

Read the text of sb-3081 :

More on this over at Sipsey Street-

Sipsey Street Irregulars: Lindsey Graham calls for using military against American citizens. Strangling the feeble old Posse Comitatus in its sickbed.

Quote:
In support of this harmful bill, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) explained that the bill will “basically say in law for the first time that the homeland is part of the battlefield” and people can be imprisoned without charge or trial “American citizen or not.” Another supporter, Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) also declared that the bill is needed because “America is part of the battlefield.”
You ask me,thats,of course,if your just asking-

This needs alot more attention then its being given.
Were basically watching our "elected representatives" use the evil (fill in the blank) crap to enact their own version of the Nazi Germany "Enabling Laws".

Meh. Nothing new. GCA '68 was based on Hitler's gun-limiting laws.

Not to kick this aside as unimportant - it's EXTREMELY important - but it's easier to squeeze sap from a brick than it is to get voters to learn anything or pay attention to what's going on.

If the government boys don't have to follow the rules when detaining me, then they shouldn't mind if i don't follow the rules and go along quietly. I doubt i am alone in that sentiment/plan of action.

Maybe a stretch, but it could also be said that the anti-smoking campaigns of the Nazi regime were used to soften up the populace for other right-infringing campaigns of that regime. That came to mind when the nearest town to me made all restaurants "smoke free", though i do wonder about that barbeque place, perhaps they use heat lamps or hot steam.

You know,if I open a business and decide to allow smoking room for customers that smoke, then that is my right.
My business,my rules,period.

At least, thats how a true free market works........

Of course, with the federal government dictating whom business owners must cater to and whom they must hire and how much they must be paid, etc, its really only a matter of time before businesses might as well all be owned by "the collective" and run by a central governing body........which is,in fact, the true definition of "socialism".

And now they want to use the military to enforce their will, suspend habeas corpus and due process.....

I don't think its much of a stretch to say that if this odious legislation becomes "law",then thats all folks. The Republic that was created for the first time in history to set government under man, inalienable rights and individual liberty,is DONE.
