It's called being absurd. Banning maple syrup will not help with stopping diabetes any more than banning guns will stop criminals.

Just using the same philosophy people make when trying to take away our rights.

It really doesn't matter anyway, I can't afford REAL maple syrup any more then I can afford to buy a nice AR now.

I don't see it that way and so do alot of people in the US. The analogy is a little off considering sugar isn't the main leading cause of diabetes plus there are two types and its treatable. Bullets in the head from any AR In the wrong hands is not, ie: sandy hook, aurora, columbine.

Wouldn't it have been nice if all those helpless victims could have retuned fire instead of being disarmed by the "Gun Free Zone" law? Only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is for a good guy to have a gun.

And I would think a good guy w an ar taking down a bad guy with any type of weapon is a grand idea and turns that good guy into a great guy.
