Glad to hear that. My daughter is an elementary school teacher and in her area they are told that "we don't allow hugging in school" although it is assumed K through 2nd grade kids will do that regularly. Kids being kids.

in this day and age of being PC, many people would find it inappropriate.

seems as many become more PC, they lose their common sense. strange.

That's just the thing, you are not above the laws you swore to protect and do not get to choose which you follow, when, not if, you are caught breaking them, you will no longer be free. You are a common criminal, and I will no longer be reading anything you have to say. *ignored*

The 'law' I swore (nine times) to protect was the Constitution, not the government! Wake up and smell the stench of what is going on today.

And I am not surprised you can't handle the truth!

Have you seen the alternative defense training videos on the evening news? One of the defenses is arming your self with scissors to fight off a gun man. The schools only allow "Safety" scissors for class rooms no sharp points.
Do they need firearms training or mental competence testing.

The time is now uppon us to decide what takes priority. So called "political correctness" or the safety of the children. Gun free zones don't work.

Agreed 110% I would personally prefer well trained and EXPERIENCED men and women charged with the task of protecting my child in school vs inexperienced well trained teachers..
Bad things can happen with either but the odds are more in favor of experienced officers of any kind.
I will say armed teachers are better then nothing, which is what we have now.
