I hope just the nonviolent ones. If our justice system was the same as 100 years ago, it probably wouldn.t matter anyway. Criminals were punished a little more effectively back then.

All felons. If you want some crimes to be punished more than others than make the sentences longer. Once you have served your sentence you have paid for your crime. There is no excuse to have life sentences for anything unless they are life in prison sentences.

That's what i'm saying, back in the day rapists and murderers were executed. Problem solved. Of course the justice system back then had some flaws too. I dont like the idea of murderers and regular armed robbers having guns, so thats where you get into the penalties like you mentioned. Im not a fan of life penalties myself though. If its bad enough to cost a life, I think that life should be forfeit

A short drop and a sudden stop was alot better than sending them to prison. Either that or hot lead.

Too true. And unfortunately, bleeding hearts have put a stop to that. Now look what we have, repeat offenders that are sometimes in and out in as little as 2 hours

The bleeding hearts try to find good in everyone but they're just too stubborn to accept the fact that most of these degenerate low-lifes have no conscience. The scumbags they want to protect would never do the same in return.

As someone once said "the repeat offenders will always be a drag on society so society should cut that drag loose.....permantly."

A rope, a bullet, and the chair seemed to do their jobs. Maybe we should bring those back and use them a lot. Texas seems to have the right idea. Maybe some of the other states should try to catch up.

(Texas has executed 475 people since 1976. Virginia has 2nd place with 109. Just sayin)
