That is a shame. This country needs as many organizations as we can get to fight for all our birthrights , not just the second amendment. Lord knows you can never have enough groups teaching firearm safety and responsibility to children.

Most of us just didn't have the time to devote to it

Thumbs down Garbage by the Truck Load...

If there is to be a so-called "AWB" then it must include at the very least:
1. Paintball guns that look like "AW"s.
2. Pellet guns that look like "AW"s.
3. Any and all video game that have guns that look like "AW"s, not to mention gun violence.
4. All books, comics books, Internet depictions that display "AW"s pictures.
5. All TV programs that have content that display "AW"s and other gun violence.
6. All toys that involve violence.
7. All movies that have content that display "AW"s and other gun violence.
The list could run on and on and on and on on and on and on and on on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.

I apologize if I missed anything...

I just kind of felt the whole "Let's consider all the aspects of this problem..." was a ruse that would end with the so-called "AW" being the scapegoat.

Welcome to the government " of the politician, for the politician, and by the politician" - most of whom with the help of the press, are out of touch with reality.

By the way, where are the liberal actors that make all the movies, TV shows, etc., containing gun and other violence in all this... depositing their paychecks from this?

Aint that the truth. Thats exactly unfortunately why Community Organizers win out over Constitutionalists in the 21st Century. Its not a red mark against those who live and love all our BOR's or those that tried and failed to unite while trying to make a legal living! Honestly, were just trying to support our families, the taxes and fees and 47%+ of those who cant or wont support themselves while keeping the rich folks happy at the same time!

Think about the difference between the two parties in how they run campaigns alone.

Conservatives come out 6 months before election day, Liberals never stop running.

Conservatives Get dragged to the center, Liberals move further left every time.

Conservatives "share the blame" with the Liberals who cast it all entirely on the Conservatives and somehow it sticks every time cause we dont fight back!

Conservatives Stay Home on Voting Night and Liberals Sometime vote two or three times but after the ballots are counted, Conservatives go back to their real jobs while "Community Organizers" keep the Liberal Drumbeat up 24/7/365 days a year.

We really cant fight fire with fire on this one, like you said, whos got that kinda time, I have real jobs and I would guess most on the FTF have also or have retired from 1 or more honorably. We dont need to make organizations they can target for elimination, we need to hit them in the pocketbook/ wallet and bank accounts of their major funding agents. You know, the ones that get to bang their old ladies in the Lincoln Bedroom for a $50,000 donation and all those $10,000 a plate steak and Lobster dinners with a Photo Op!

Those who live and die by thousands of pages of new laws and trillions of dollars of debt dont care about the fate of anyone but their Big $$$ Donor Constituency!

Its really just that easy but it will take some self control on our parts to be even moderately effective. If we wish to maintain our real freedom of choice, we must not support anyone that would "fetter" those choices with our hard earned money.

They cannot legislate what we choose to by, only the items legal to choose from.

Hey Webley. Excellent and insightful post. Conservatives by their very nature cannot win against an ever mushrooming illiterate mass of people whose only concept of freedom is, "what can you give me for free?" Freedom to them means having to work for a living and that is clearly not in their lexicon or their best interest.
