We are listed in the group section. I forget who handles membership. Pm marlinman he knows.

I'm just making count, so don't consider this post in the wrong light.

In the almost 10 months since the GOFFA's conception, creation, etc.

-How many community involved gun awareness activities

has GOFFA been involved in ?

-How many shooting safety activities has GOFFA been involved in?

-How many newbies have been to the range to shoot the 22s, in

GOFFA introduction meetups?

-How many wild boar and feral hogs have been killed by hunt's

organized with permission on a farmer's property, in order to save crops, and increase

equipment(tractor) safety?

--And what other activities have been set up to which you can attach

the GOFFA's name ?

Is GOFFA to be an activist's group in name only?

How are you to distinguish yourselves from the NRA, GOA, SAF, and

(GOD help us) NAGR?

I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

This thing was a great idea when we started it. Many things have happened though. Some people lost interest. Not many wanted to commit, and several of us have personal issues that have come up such as deaths in the family, other family problems, job problems, and on a personal note for me, divorce and a child custody battle.

Should we do more? Yes. CAN we do more at this moment in time? Maybe. We have right now maybe 3 members who haven't lost interest, and incidentally, they're the ones with some of the more drastic personal problems, so it's not for a lack of dedication.

And this is exactly why we didn't start charging membership dues and aging for donations right away. We KNEW it would be hard to get this thing off the ground, and didn't want to take anyone's money in poor faith.

We haven't given up. We are still here.

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillement of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause, and lies exhausted on the field of battle... Victorious.

Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.
