It isn't a matter of voting for a candidate: It is a matter of taking the time to track their voting record once they are elected.

They can only get away with their lying ways if the electorate doesn't do their job, and pay attention to what they do in office. We live in a time when it is the easiest it has ever been to track how your elected officials vote on the issues. Seems the vast majority of voters can't be bothered to devote an hour a week tracking what their elected officials do.

Thus they vote a party ticket based on the lies the candidates tell them. It doesn't matter which party, both are generally lieing dogs, who tell the party line lies and then do their best to do the bidding of those who funded their election.

The one per centers will continue to control and pervert the governance of the nation until the electorate wakes up and starts to monitor their politicians.
