I got five AR lowers after Obama was reflected and bought a completed AR and 1000 rounds of 223 brass today just in case

I was in a gun store today buying an HK 45, and there were a ton of people in there buying weapons. So much so that the employees had a hard time keeping up. I don't know if there is going to be a reinstatement of the AWB, but it sure is not hurting the gun store business.

You know its funny. I was just saying to my wife last night, everyone is against and wants to ban AK-47's. Whenever someone says AK 47, its like "oh no!" However, seems like all these shootings are being done with AR's, not AK's.

Prob cuz most people (who don't know any better) think "terrorist" when they hear or see AK47

You beat me to it...I think the biggest consequence of this latest mass killing will be a huge surge in demand for guns & ammo, prices going up, big sales numbers for arms companies...like '08.

Speculation will do little else than raise your blood pressure and drive prices up (yet again). You will remember after the last election thousands of SUR's flew out the door of gun shops. Most were never fired (or just a few mags) and put away. I remember about 2 years ago the market was almost flooded with "used" guns. No one was able to even come close to covering their costs.

I have a gut feeling that they won't come after the guns. I figure they'll put a big tax on ammo, mags, and other accessories. They'll just try to backdoor everyone.

You can buy a AR here single shot straight pull only. They could possibly try something like that not that i am saying they should.
