I'm not panicking or reacting to this scenario. I'm am noticing a trend with the shootings. The news reporters and analysts keep saying stuff about the AR's Nd focusing on them. They are acting like these people have actual fully automatic assault rifles. When in reality they are run of the mill, probably cheapest on the shelf, semi auto AR15's that any civilian of legal age without a felony can buy from Walmart. My concern is the focus I've seen on the weapon itself. I don't want to jump through hoops to put together a nice hunting AR. I'm a gun loving hunter, not a killing spree one man army.

Obama and a few others would LOVE to ban guns period but that won't happen so their main focus will be restricting them as much as they can.
Since the house is majority republican, thank god, I don't see a ban passing within the next 4 years. I think the biggest issue for working Americans will be lower quality and more expensive healthcare.
Not two months after being re-elected my health insurance already went up $60 per pay check. I just hope we can ride out the next four years and in the end still have gun rights and that the healthcare system and economy isn't screwed up to bad.

I just hope the Republicans don't cave on this. I don't have a lot of faith in the Republican leadership right now.

I dont have faith in any politician regardless of party. What I do have is faith in the American people. The majority know its not the guns but the psycopath with the guns thats the problem. Regardless of what happens, nobody is getting any of my guns without a fight. The government didnt give me the right to bear arms, they are supposed to protect it, not take it away. If you want to keep your guns you better get ready to fight for them or they will come and snatch them right out of your hands.

I don't know. They keep voting these fine folks back into office. As someone said somewhere, "there's a bid difference between a politician and a statesman". I think we need to get rid of the politicians and start finding some true statesmen that will represent the "people" and not their personal agenda.

And I just read a little bit ago a gunman in Alabama was shot and killed in a hospital after wounding 3 people. Hmmm, another "gun free zone".

the problem we have is that not enough honest law abiding people are carrying firearms. a few firearms in the hands of teachers doctors your average joe/jane in these gun free murder zones would put a stop to this sht.

in my opinion if you go about your daily routine without a firearm you might as well walk around naked bent over with a please rape me sign hanging off your ass

No signs hanging off my rearend. Im armed all the time. When I leave my house, Im armed. When Im sitting around inside my home, Im armed. Ive had a concealed carry permit for a long time and thankfully never needed it but that doesnt keep me from carrying because you never know.

Does anyone really think these lockstep liberal members of the Teachers Union would ever go armed? The facts are these feeble minded public servants owning guns would be a real problem. We need to look more at what they are teaching. Why in the Hell is the product of these schools attacking them? Years past you could order a handgun thru the mail and there was never a school shooting. Teachers and schools turned to Left Wing agendas and antichristian pro socialist leaning. School shooting have become common place.
