Gun laws in Australia thwarted

Apparently all those really good gun laws in Australia are not keeping guns off the street. Machine guns might be increasing in popularity.

Doesn't surprise me. 'Tis another can of worms they have opened.

A hint of things to come, maybe?

It boggles my mind that a place like Australia could have been led into such draconian, useless, offensive and fascist gun control and confiscation laws.

We can never underestimate the power of good propaganda.

The Aussies are a fine freedom loving people. I am surprised it happened there. It shows it can happen anywhere. They started as a penal colony, and in some respects have gone back to their roots.

It seems I have a couple of people in my families history that were shipped to Australia. Well I was always told my family was made up of priests and pirates.

Fellas the machine guns shown aren't allowed to be owned anybody here in Australia and these look like home made jobs.
In 1996 there was a mass shooting in Port Arthur Tasmania and the then PM John Howard who has a track record of hating guns took it upon himself to use this as a way to try and ban or make it impossible to own guns.

He wasted $5 million in taxpayers money on a gun buyback that achieved nothing and then claimed that crime fell due to this when there was already evidence that gun related crime was already on the downturn well before this lying rodent started this load of dog's rocks.

We used to be able to own semi auto and pump action shotguns but now have to have a reason to own.

The laws as such have achieved nothing as gun ownership has increased more since then.

Just be aware that this ex PM has been to the USA advising Obama on how "successful" the buyback was and that he and a few other idiots from here are in your President's ear advising him of how to try and reduce your gun's.

Failed social experiments, such as gun control,

always take time to play themselves out on

the world stage.

"Authorities arent sure who is manufacturing the machine guns?".

I know the answer to that, it doesnt take Dick Friggen Tracy, no LEO investigatory prowess required; Machinists, duh! Gunsmithing is not rocket science, its just spinning raw metal into finished product, exactly what Machinists and Toolmakers are trained to do! Sadly, when they do it in back rooms with substandard materials and tooling, their products are usually far more dangerous and unreliable that the ones that were legally available before they were prohibited, no warranty either.

Group think Morality laws like gun restrictions only create and strengthen Black Markets, just look at the war on drugs and see what that has done for The USA, are we safer now after spending a few trillion dollars and 30 years eradicating Pot, NFW...

Thank GOODNESS Americans aren't innovative, industrious, tenacious and are so reverent of even the most illegitimate laws surreptitiously foisted upon them by the lying Party of the Left to curtail their basic freedoms!
