Default Gun Control and Pet Constituents

The conversation rages about the merits of punishing the law abiding citizen gun owner for the criminal miss use of guns by others and I believe that many of us are missing the point. We are missing the motivating factor for most of our adversaries.

Are there Liberal politicians who push these proposals for nefarious purposes, sure there are. Is there a global interest in seeing American disarmed? Absolutely and it's well documented by our NGO representation at the UN.

But what drives the rational, not lemming, union employee? What drives the people who do not suffer from Hoplophobia? Why do they fall for the lies?

Here is why...our enemies have spent decades building draconian gun laws in our inner city areas knowing full well that their policies on illicit drugs combined with the welfare state and pop culture would drive a large percentage of poorly educated young Black Americans into the drug trade and the gun violence that comes with it.

The vast majority of Americas 11,500 annual gun death rate is directly attributed to Black on Black violence or Black on Brown violence and fueled by territorial control of the drug market.

These deaths are "needed" by our opposition to justify there first claim, that guns are bad...from there, they believe it's a very short trip, to blame lax gun laws in neighboring areas for fueling the flow of weapons into the violent districts.

What all of us know, and how we counter ^^THIS^^ argument is with the undisputable FACT that prohibition does NOT work! Drug gangs will ALWAYS have the cash to pay ANY price for guns and the black market proffits will guarantee that sellers will step in to fill the void.

Look at the actions of some liberal politicians and PETA.

Tactics seem to be the same to some degree.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to grasp my "subtle" intent with the "Pet Constituent" title...

...guess it was not as "subtle" as I thought...nice job Dan!

...and yes, it is the same tactic...ban lead shot because it poisons fish sounds strangely similar to "ban that gun...because 1 guy misused it".
