Maybe he's been looking for ammo too.

I think things may be dying down simply because there's just nothing left to buy OR prices on somethings like AR rifles have gone through the roof.
Lord willing in a few months after all this Anti-Gun crap dies down things will get back to normal and we'll once again be able to buy full cap mags and AR's at reasonable prices.

If any of you need slugs for your 12 guage, let me know. I can make a run to Wal-Mart and make a purchase, send you the shells and then you can send me the cash. I don't mind at all. We still have plenty of 38s and slugs on the shelves in my area. Let me know what ya want, I'll send it and the reciept to you and you can send me the money. As long as that is legal where you live and the mods here don't mind stuff like that happening.

Armlist: 100 round AR 15 drum magazine, with bag and speed loader. $1000 obo. I considered calling and asking what brand of AR comes with it, and calling him an azzhole when he says its just the mag. At least its not a 100 round clip.

Local news here in Jax Fl had a story on the night of the Presidents address. Apparently sales are up 1000% at the local gun shops since last year and the address did not help.

I was hoping people would be more confident nothing would change.

Sucks not having a plentiful supply of ammo to go to the range. I have some but I'm reluctant to shoot it until I can replace what I shoot because I don't have a huge amount.

Ammo shelves here in Utah at Sportsmans Warehouse are really empty. A clerk there said some guy asked what day they got their shipments, they told him Thursday. He showed up the next Thursday and bought $3700 worth of ammo. I am thinking a lot of this buying is people planning on making a buck later. Not from me. I reload, and have lots of supplies.

With the exception of 223 and 22lr the gun shop I frequent has plenty of ammo. They still have alot of handguns and long guns with the exception of AR type rifles. They are always busy though. I went the other day and bought my brother-in-law some clays powder and 1000 primers because he couldnt find any. He's not too bad of an ole boy so I didnt mind helping him out.
