Just checked a couple of stores on lunch break and I am not seeing evidence of a slow down either.

Just about all handgun ammo is scarce. Did not see 9mm today or 45. About the only thing they both had was 380!

Even buck shot is scarce. Would love to buy a couple hundred rounds but no one has it. May have to just buy game loads to go practice.

Definitely have seen no "dying down" of ammo demand. Just skyrocketing prices.

A year or so ago I could easily find a case of American Eagle in .223 for $300. Now impossible to find it for much less than $500!

Armslist in my area:
AK74, new, with 2000 rounds of ammo, $2000. Seriously? Sportsmans guide is selling 1080 rounds for $160.

Troy industries 30 round "battle mags", $50 each. Lmao, Wtf is a battle mag?

This is getting entertaining!

You're lucky to find any hollow points anywhere, forget any target rounds of anything. Now shotgun shells of all types are very prevalent and easy

Not dying down in NC yet. Walmart had even less ammo today than it had last week. There were mostly only 2 types there at all... .270 and something else. .300 maybe? Definitely not any .22 or 9 mm. I asked the lady when they will be getting more and she said, "We get trucks in every day but we don't know what's on 'em."

Last week at the local gun store, they were very busy selling, though there were lots of handguns in stock. It looked like they were also doing the paperwork for some people who bought rifles elsewhere and had them shipped there. This week, even a lot of the handgun cases were looking sparse.

Even shotgun shells are hard to find if you want slugs or buckshot here. Still plenty of game loads. I actually resorted to ordering slugs online because I can't find them locally.

I have plenty of guns and ammo I will stop buying until the end of the year for 2 primary reasons that have nothing to do with money:

- To not be partof the problem driving up prices.

- To leave more stuff out there for others who may need it more urgantly than me (as I have plenty)
