One of the local Ace Hardware stores requires that the cashiers ask every customer every time if they are an Ace Rewards member. It annoys me to no end actually. I don't like the very concept of having what amounts to two classes of customer. One of the grocery store chains here does the same thing, but they offer some seriously steep discounts for members. I have one of their cards in my wallet but is a dead account. I get the discounts but never divulged any of my information to them. If they stop accepting that I will register under a false entity (maybe even as the grocery chain itself!).

Conversly a store has a policy of no guns a guy comes in shoots the place up murdering tons of customers, people get fed up with no gun policy and sue the crap out of the company for violating their rights and allowing it to happen...

Ive never heard of an incident where a business was sued because an employee got shot by a robber. Its stupid to give in to a crook and not take the first oppurtunity to fight back. There arent many if any incidents of folks fighting back and getting slaughtered. There are thousands of examples of people cooperating and getting murdered kidnapped and raped.

History says your more likely to survive uninjured by fighting back when possible than cooperating with demands. Robberies dont happen like in the movies where a gang of 50 highly intelligent people plan a casino heist. Its pretty much one or two really stupid cowardly individuals who run at the first sign of resistance...

Right about that.

There was a recent on caught on camera - seems like Arizona or some place like that. A restaurant - one hold-up man. And a customer bidding his time with his Ruger 380. He ran the robber out of there in no time!

There was another youtube video of a holdup of a small store - convenience type or gas station - one robber - two customers - two workers behind the counter. The worker pulls his autoloader - fires - maybe 3 times at the robber - as the guy scrambles as best he can to get out the door. He was wounded. Robbery and threat to the customers ended.

If the country sees a lot more of this - there will most likely be fewer robberies. These robber types are not brave - and not very devoted to their chosen profession...

I think it also behooves us to do what we can to see that if and when there are injuries and/or deaths as a result of a no-gun policy (perhaps Aurora would be an example) that the company is held legally responsible for those injuries. That is how we got to where we are today with companies afraid of the tort lawyers going after them for the actions of the individuals who work for them or perhaps the customers who would normally be carrying into a given business but do not due to policy. The ironic part is that the lawsuits never occurred as far as I am aware. They made the policy where there was no need for one.The only way to get a change in the policies of these companies is to sue the crap out of them when their policies trespass upon the rights of employees and customers.

The flaw in this plan is that we, as a group of 2A activists, cannot sue on the behalf of somebody without their support. It needs to be a concerted effort and we must be relentless. That is the only way it will work.

Just another store on my Do Not Shop list. The other being Papa John's Pizza. The owner stated that if Obamacare passed, he was going to reduce his employee's hours.

A sad time we live in.
