Calm down trip, breath.

The Burr amendment, which sought to make it where a court would have to declare a veteran unfit to own a gun, was struck down. The adm was fighting against a problem where veterans who are unable to manage their money and finances are being put on the NICS

Burr Amendment would have protected veterans with issues, i.e. PTSD, veterans the VA deems that cannot handle financial obligations.

Mag ban failed:

Yea's - 46
Nay's - 54

Vet bill failed unfortunately. Apparently the dems think that 100k+ veterans who are tight on money shouldn't one a gun.

THESE ARE THE FREAKING PEOPLE WHO FIGHT FOR OUR FREAKING RIGHTS!!!! AND JUST BECAUSE THE ECONOMY SUCKS RIGHT NOW AND SO MANY VETS ARE HAVING A HARD TIME WITH MONEY, CAUSE WE ALL KNOW THAT THE MILITARY DOESN'T PAY THAT WELL, THESE VETS CAN'T OWN A GUN. IT'S THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT!

Some times.......

Anyways, they are done talking gun control until 1200 tomorrow

Now, because I'm afraid maybe I don't understand, does this mean that the VA can report my horrible credit and PTSD diagnosis to the NICS and prevent me from owning a gun, or the opposite?
