Scratch one "gun free zone". Appears solid.

What about the resource officer, is he or she going to receive any type of training or are they just gonna have him play a lot of call of duty. Its a step in the right direction but if the person doesnt know how to use the rifle properly it could also cause more problems.

New signs in Georgia School will read. "Anyone attacking this school will be shot. Any survivors will be shot again".

Not a bad idea, but it raises one question in my mind. What will they do if the SRO is out sick? Will they reset the thumbprint scanner to respond to the "substitute" SRO? i am sure they don't do what the district I live in does, (SRO is shared by 2 schools Full day alternating) but it does make me wonder what the plan is for sick or vacation days.

Its a great start, hopefully, they will fund at least one fulltimer in each school and have authorized Subs in the wing if one gets sick.

Georgia Military Academy is in Gainesville. Maybe the cadets could train the SROs.
