Fort Bragg soldier
I don't know what to think of this...
Fort Bragg, N.C. — A Spring Lake gun shop was temporarily closed Monday after an overnight burglary in which a Fort Bragg soldier with the 82nd Airborne allegedly stole more than $68,000 worth of guns, ammunition and accessories. A handwritten note attached to yellow crime scene tape outside Guns Plus on North Bragg Boulevard read: "Guns Plus will be closed for the day due to scumbags breaking in. But we caught them." http://www.wral.com/news/news_briefs/story/11070001/ Apparently he knew what he was doing...but why??? |
I could give a bunch of potential reasons.
My question is who does a 6 month tour? |
Was not extremely common, but we DID have service members that decided to go "free lancing", and were arrested for felonies. If convicted, and sentenced to long terms in prison (felony conviction) they were going to get an "Other Than Honorable" Discharge, and left to the tender mercies of the State Corrections System. A lot of them wanted to come back and serve etheir time in a military prison, but unless it was an offense against the UCMJ, was not gonna happen,

The Army has had a lot of trouble with gang members infiltrating their ranks, he could be one.
