Dog: When is that DA list dropping? How about a list in about a month of all the Journal's subscriber's names and addresses? I say a month to give all the pro rights people time to cancel. I just still can't believe this kind of public endangerment is allowed to happen.

That's wrong.

Awesome. If you're interested, you'll need a Torrent downloader to get the database. You probably need to act fast before it gets blocked.

Vincine: Both sides are wrong, two wrongs don't make a right. But... The Journal started this sh!t and outside of violence how else are we to fight this kind of public endangerment. I'm sure everyone here is open to other solutions, other than violence of course, but there does not appear to be any other solution other than violence. Nobody here wants violence to be the answer, so we are forced to take these actions. Any suggestions?

I think the paper's subscribers are:
1) Not the parties responsible. The paper's editorial staff are; and
2) Publishing the subscriber's addresses seems to me to be a great way to make enemies, not allies.

The whole thing is ridiculous to me. If you want to hurt Gannett you gotta hit them were it hurts, in their pockets. BAN GANNETT!! Don't patronize their advertisers and let the advertisers know WHY you choose not to patronize them. With a paid circulation of over 7 million they would feel that after a week or so. We're talking about over $30mm estimated weekly gross revenue just from paid subscriptions. Add the loss in potential revenue from advertisers and they'd probably print an apology the following week.

No?!

Sheeeet!...this country couldn't even come together and ban Saudi oil after 9/11.

...and I for one am opposed to any unlawful acts on this matter.

What's truly sad is arguing with the folks who see nothing wrong with the actions of the Journal News. Not only do they fail to see the dangers of publishing the names and addresses of legally licensed gun owners, they fail to see the dangers to those who DO NOT own a handgun

So for those who have been stalked, harassed, assaulted in the past ... for those who have moved, changes names, received orders of protection ... they now must be on guard 24/7

I see no reason why the employees of the Journal News should not suffer the same fate as those who were listed as well as those who were not listed. I see no reason why businesses that choose to advertise and therefore support the actions of the Journal News should not suffer!

and if by chance I happen to come across any personal information ... of any kind ... to those that work for the Journal News ... it will get disseminated!
