Yeah, okay except the Bald Eagle. I hung one of those upside down once, and got in a lot of trouble for that...

it has a lot to do with it. many veterans feel that this is disrespecting the American flag. yes our country is in great distress, but many veterans feel this is the wrong way to display the American flag in protest of these changing times.
MasterP has also served, so this is his way of protesting these changing times. read his first posts on this thread and it will make more sense. with knowing how the OP feels and his background and his family history, i don't think in any way is he trying to be disrespectful of our flag. just stating his opinions and feelings. for that i support him, even though i disagree with him in his flag displaying.

the American flag is a sacred symbol of our country and not of it's present corrupt administration. our American flag does not represent Obama as his words and actions have proven this. it represents freedom and all those who have either served for freedom or gave in the cause of freedom.
i do agree with your reasoning and opinion, and will support your right to freedom of speech, and though i don't agree with flying the flag upside down, i do believe you have a valid point and opinion.

Same here-
Pissed at first sight but I and many many others here served so you can pretty much do what you want with OUR countrys flag
