I just think they needed to get a large cache of firearms in to their custody.

Maybe a cartel in Columbia needs guns, and the Mexican cartel gave the fast and furious feds such a good recommendation, they hooked the feds up with them in the spirit of international trade. Now they really have to find something on the collector so they won't have to return the guns to him. A small thing

They can afford to harass some guy with a gun collection, yet the crack house down the street from me continues to exist. I'm so glad the government has its priorities straight to protect me and my family.

Maybe we should wait for the whole story to come out before rushing to judgment.

Ya reckon???

This reminds me of the Chicago headline that a man was arrested in his home with an AR15 and 400 rounds of ammo. That is 400 whole rounds!

They arrested the guy for allegedly threatening his land lord with the gun.
But to claim a firearms victory for taking a whole 400 rounds off the street is unbelievable.

Yea, I know, I am preaching to the choir! I actually had a co-worker bring this up as good press and good news.

I wonder if maybe they let this one fall to homeland security because maybe they have more "leeway" in following, (or not), the laws? I'd also be curious as to how the whole thing originally started.
