Good point, cept there ain't no cops that will violate their oath to paycheck and oath to Union, so they will violate as needed to stay employed.

Exactly, THAT IS THE PROBLEM!!
I have been fight it for 40+ years.
It is easy to do the wrong thing and hard to do the right thing, thus those who are weak do the easy thing.
But there are a few of us who will do the right thing, but it is costly!!!!

That is the problem!

Not the Politicians that create these laws, not the DA's that prosecute the offenders of these laws, but the Cops on the Street (Americans like you and me) that "Enforce" these Unconstitutional Laws.

The politicians and the DA's would be powerless without the Oath breakers on the street doing their dirty work.

Put the blame where the blame belongs.

Didnt see that coming, DC cant be fixed without a vacuum the size of a Aircraft Carrier. This is a city thing (NYC is the same), compressed people rule everyone. They are scared for themselves so they compromise everyone and they feel safer. Cities suck!

What drives me nuts about the whole process is the fact that several of these outright gun bans have now been declared null and void for the same reason.

However, instead of this basic principle being applied across the USA it seems every single ban in every different location has to be independently challenged all the way to the SCOTUS. Meanwhile rights guaranteed by the Constitution are trampled all over. Something not right about that to me.

As far as I know there have been NO Carry laws that have been challenged all the way to the SCOTUS.

There are a few on their way, but none have made it that far, yet. Palmer vs DC may the the one they are going to hear first. I was expecting Peruta vs San Diego to be the first, but looks like that one is stalled, again.

I suppose now there will be a glut of classified ads hiring security/body guards for the privileged fear mongers.
