On a serious note. I would always be sure to give the Campus NO GUN policy the exact same level of consideration it will receive from the next VT Nutt Job.

Thought about it but if something goes down they shut down the buildings and everyone gets searched so I might loose all my firearms rights for nothing. Just my personal decision and I'm sure others have decided otherwise.

I'm still going with the Mossad Sleeper theory.

As far as I know, there is no kind of a special exception for corrections officer's families. Anywhere. Especially not one that supersedes regular state laws.

Hard to believe anything he's saying, but then I can't believe retired or off duty LEOs are permitted to carry.

No such thing as a FEDERAL CCW. Law enforcement officers (Fed, State and local) can carry. RETIRED LEOs that meet the requirements (requalifying with weapon, etc) can carry. As noted earlier, that IS provided for in Federal law. It does not extend to family members, neighbors, good friends, or next of kin.

Not that you asked me for it, but would put as much distance between him and you as you can. A couple of zip codes worth of distance. He will manage to self destruct in a spectacular fashion. You want to be outside the blast radius when that happens.

Don't think you could loose your 2a rights over it. Last I checked loosing 2a required a felony conviction or misdemeanor domestic violence.

I highly doubt violating a gun free zone rises to the level of a felony but the LOE's here should chime in shortly.

Next time I see him I'm going to ask to see it. There is something that I'm missing here.
