Good for them. The pay they are offering will get a lot of applicants in these times. It is way higher than what people in my location can get.

Apparently more of your fellow citizens did. You know, fellow Californians.

Or vote for the one that can do the least amount of damage. We might be voting that way again if Christie (Obama light) is nominated in 2016.

Christie is anything but light. He is an anti gun RINO and the worst possible candidate for the Republicans.

If Chris Christie is the best the republicans can offer up in '16 this country is in serious trouble. That's a fact.

it seems many smallish, more independent firearms companies are making real statements here ....and that is awesome imo.

however, has one MAJOR gun manufacturer told their gun hating state to shove it and come to a more pro 2A state? this is what we REALLY need to see!

the hypocrisy of these gun grabbing states makes me truly ILL! "NO, you can't sell your product in my state....but we will gladly take your tax dollars and jobs and allow you to ship your filth elsewhere".....

when will a MAJOR gun company take a stand?

I do think Remington will relocate but it can't be easy to pull the plug after being in NY for 150 years. They have mfg in other states and it wouldn't surprise me if they are being cautious to avoid having to relocate soon after. They may feel they want to see how the dust settles with NY, Chicago, Colorado and other high-level pending issues before making a commitment. Just my opinion.

This is dated Aug 2013 - not new but describes their situation:

Do not add them to the list. I clicked on the e-mail link, and got this:

Kind of a let down if you ask me.
