AR are actually initials for Armalite Rifle
and I would also add that have several rounds of 5.56 on stripper clips. I use them to fill magazines.
We would be blessed if they banned clips over 10 rounds. I've never personally seen a clip with more than 10rounds
. You're right about the federal definition of an assault rifle but the popular definition of the day is "a scary looking rifle like I saw in those movies."
