I agree. Executive orders do not have the effect of LAW. He cannot unilaterally ldeclare acts or objects illegal. That is part of the beauty of the three part government.

AR are actually initials for Armalite Rifle and I would also add that have several rounds of 5.56 on stripper clips. I use them to fill magazines.
We would be blessed if they banned clips over 10 rounds. I've never personally seen a clip with more than 10rounds . You're right about the federal definition of an assault rifle but the popular definition of the day is "a scary looking rifle like I saw in those movies."

We already got those laws in California.

Or Jersey Strong.
No bayonet lug or adjustable stock OR removable muzzle device OR magazines over 15 rounds... in the Garden State. Sucks.

THERE WILL BE NO MORE COMPROMISES

The fact that bayonets are the ONE thing that our founding fathers had on their weapons that we have now... Speaks volumes to the idiocy and ignorance of banning them.

NY had a 10 round limit. Now it is 7. We've seen where they want to go with "reasonable" and "compromise"
They're not going to be happy with a 10 round limit. Just wait, someone is going to try for 5 soon. At least if this keeps up.
They'll keep bringing out the same old tropes.
"No one needs 30 rounds"
"No one needs 15 rounds"
"No one needs 10 rounds"
"No one needs 7 rounds"
They know they can't outright ban guns, so they'll just render them as useless as possible.
