[QUOTE=Balota;1315852]The CCW law should be able to reduce crime in the inner city. QUOTE]

I agree and disagree, and for two different reasons. The petty theives may just think twice before a holdup on the street...maybe. But as far as the serious criminals and shootings go in Chicago...that is nearly 100% gang related, and the carry laws won't affect that part of Chicago society. If you follow the news in Chicago on a daily basis you will see shootings and killings. But these are 95% black, in gang controlled areas....places you don't want to be unless you have no choice. The bad guys already have their guns, the good guys would be foolish to put themselves in a position to draw on them.

I would expect that IL will offer reciprocity in due time , since there are 17 states that will currently accept the Illinois permit . Those are ID, UT, AZ, SD , KS, OK, IA, MO, AR, IN, KY, TN, MS , AL , VT, AK and NC

I'm curious....how did you get that information? The IL CCW permits do not exist yet.

some states accept all other states permits. As soon as IL passed a CCW law, it fell under the "all other states" type statues.

I think you should change the word victoms in two places to votors. They only use victoms to further their policies, and 12 million more voters would do that also.

Here is another good video looking at supporting current gun laws, and why.
