I'll agree with that, we let 1% of the population dictate how we should live... how did this happen?

100% true, and right now the left is manipulating the 2nd Amendment as a right to own a gun to hunt. Just listen to how often the words military style rifle and hunting are used in the same sentence. Once that meme takes hold the next step is to further the argument that no one NEEDS a semi-automatic rifle to hunt with.

In Idaho you can hunt big game with a semi-automatic and a four round magazine. Varmints a semi-auto and 30 round magazine.

Playing with words is not new. The Dems used that after 1963 when JFK was assassinated. They wanted to ban all military bolt action rifles and scopes. They said no honest deer hunter used a scope to kill game. Scopes were only used by snipers to kill people. The rifle scope was only useful to military snipers.
Yes there was all this panic among gun owners back then. But scopes have come a long way since back then. You can still order one thru the mail.

A scope yes, but Oswald got his rifle in the mail, at home...no FFL, no 4473. The Gun Control Act of 1968 ended that...a major victory for the grabbers and a defeat for the NRA. Watch for Obama to follow Johnson's playbook...

A defeat for the NRA? No it was a loss to gun owners. The NRA was a very small Org. in those days. The millions of people who voted Democratic in those days as now decided the gun laws.

Just finished writing her a letter. Don't know if she will care or even read/see it but at least I know I made an effort to make my voice heard!
