They said no honest deer hunter used a scope to kill game. Scopes were only used by snipers to kill people. The rifle scope was only useful to military snipers.
Yes there was all this panic among gun owners back then. But scopes have come a long way since back then. You can still order one thru the mail.
A scope yes, but Oswald got his rifle in the mail, at home...no FFL, no 4473. The Gun Control Act of 1968 ended that...a major victory for the grabbers and a defeat for the NRA. Watch for Obama to follow Johnson's playbook...
