Yes there was all this panic among gun owners back then. But scopes have come a long way since back then. You can still order one thru the mail.

A scope yes, but Oswald got his rifle in the mail, at home...no FFL, no 4473. The Gun Control Act of 1968 ended that...a major victory for the grabbers and a defeat for the NRA. Watch for Obama to follow Johnson's playbook...
