Agreed John deer %100 I get mad when people think that guns kill people when it's crazy people who kill people. If someone is crazy enough to kill someone they are gonna find whatever weapon they can and most likely find a victim who is weak and can't fight back like the sandy hook deal. I bet that kid wouldn't of walked into a police station and it doesn't help when the media makes the shooter a celebrity either. But no it's all the guns fault

We can put a big tax on hand tools so only the rich can afford those dangerous hand tools.

If the laws that are currently on the books were enforced we could stop a lot of violence. How many gun shops that lose way to much inventory have been shut down?
sorry, but even if every law on the books currently was enforced, it would still never stop mentally unstable people from committing violent deeds on others, regardless of whether a gun was used or not. current laws and new laws will not stop people from killing other people. IIRC, are not assault and battery, murder, attempted murder and other violent acts already against the law? yes i believe so. show us one way that any current law on the books would stop or even decrease violent acts?

Things like mass killings are rare in scope of violence overall. You are right they can't be prevented.

Most violence is carried out by people involved in the drug trade. By enforcing laws currently on the books and stopping the BATF from handing out guns will eliminate a lot of violence. There are gun shops that manage to lose a lot of guns that are still in business. I am not talking about the shop owner that has two guns stolen every ten years. I am talking about shops that manage to lose a percentage of their inventory every year. According to the BATF most illegal guns are provided by 2 or 3 percent of FFL holders. Why not use the laws on the books to arrest this 2 or 3% and make examples of them?
