I got this from an old friend who can't afford to post it on his FB page because most of his clients are left wing liberals- and he can't afford to lose income over it. I posted it on my FB page though.

I did do some research. It is accurate, but some believe he meant "arms" in the context of an Indian army. Indians were prohibited from serving in the army, only British were. Not everyone agrees with this (I am one of these). I do not have Ghandi's autobiography in my library nor have I read it (yet). He used this quote as a recruiting tool. He personally was opposed to violence, but he was also a pragmatist and was quoted as saying

This is a good place to start. 2A is one we are all familiar with. 14A is less well known, but is actually the reason why gun control by ANY level of government is unconstitutional.

14A says "...No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States;..." One of those privileges or immunities is provided by 2A, RKBA shall not be infringed. So, all those extraneous, confusing, conflicting, and most importantly, infringing State laws (and Federal laws) are unconstitutional and have been so since 1868 when 14A was ratified. Forget about whether SCOTUS "incorporates" 2A to the States. 14A has already done that.

Wow! Superhero Lott strikes again! The Multiple Victim paper is amazingly apropos to today's headlines.

The paper shows that passage of gun laws will reduce both the frequency of multiple shootings and the number of killed/injured in the shootings that still occur.

However, the gun laws that provide this benefit are NOT ones that restrict magazine capacity or availability of certain types of guns. The gun law that provides this benefit is "shall issue" concealed carry permitting.

Even more importantly, his paper shows that GFZs increase, rather than decrease, the probability and severity of multiple shootings. The more places a permitted, armed citizen is allowed to carry, the less shootings and the less injuries/deaths.

The ONLY way for us to fight this is for ALL of us to unite and and 'refuse to go to the back of the bus'! This is a civil rights issue which must be addressed as such!
DO NOT COMPLY!! There are far to many of us to prosecute!!!
The progressives are very good at 'turning truth to lies and lies to truth'!!!
