PostConstitution and what "Citizens Need To Know!"

We must remember that our Founding Fathers designed the Constitution of the United States of America to protect the citizens from a government that might get out of control. Not to protect the Government from the people!
With liberal progressive socialism knocking at our door and our freedom. We best remember the Constitution when we vote in 2012~

Very true words. It's a shame the Constitution is not stressed more to the youth of America. They just don't teach the Civics classes the way I was taught 40 years ago.

For Christmas I gave my niece and nephews a copy of the US Constitution and told them that it should be as near and dear to them as their Bible.

Everyone needs to get out and vote to restore our freedoms.

Gabby,

I think it is because they seemingly do not want the youth to know about what is in the Constitution! It would interfere with their plan! I agree with you it should be the initially study for all students in their first high school history class. And thank you for presenting you niece and nephews with the copy of the Constitution. I will be doing the same for my grandchildren soon! Thank you for bringing that idea to my attention. Hopefully others here on the Forum will follow your lead! Great Idea!
I will be getting some copies this week!

That's the way to do it! Parents and grandparents (and aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) need to step up and teach young family members about our history because the schools - even nice private schools - sure don't do it.

You're 100% right. And that's why I'm for Ron Paul.
