The Sandy Hook event was a terrible tragedy. Made worse by the incompetent, biased media. So now we can expect an onslaught by the ever-popular government to make certain kinds of weapons, or maybe all weapons illegal. The last time I heard anything about it, murder has been illegal for thousands of years. If these wierdo's aren't stopped by a law against murder, why would they care about a law that makes their guns illegal?
But it's a much-awaited excuse to appoint some more czar's and create some more "law enforcement" bureaus and further erode our rights as citizens of the People's Republik of Amerika.

I was watching the news on my lunch and they are working on a gun ban full time, slamming it into peoples heads over and over again, having all of these so called ex-police firearm training experts who are extremely anti civilian gun ownership, no wonder people support it they haven't heard the other side.

Was speaking with my Retired Illinois State Trooper neighbor yesterday
he felt that 90% of Illinois cops support concealled carry.

He even admitted that years ago when states started issuing civilian CCW
he was worried that things could get out of hand. He admitted that from
looking at the other states it has done more to stop crime than anything
the gov't and police forces can do. Armed citizens do not become victims.

This is the same opinion I've gotten from most Ut LEO ... They are in favor of ccw and appreciate the effect it has on crime

Do you have a link to back that statement? With so many different stories It's hard to know which is the latest.

Just google search the one you want to use, this is a total FUBAR situation, I hardly ever sign on to conspiracy and I don't think there's one going on here but the story here is all effed up on multiple levels, all across the board.
