This makes me sick, as a father of two, my heartfelt prayers go out to the families of the victims. Those kids were way too young to die. It's a sick and cruel world we live in.

Out of curiosity, what weapon was used?

My heart and prayers are with the families of those lost, and left behind. This is truly a very disturbing and sickening event. I couldn't imagine as a parent this happening to my son. There isn't a deep enough or dark enough pit in hell for this **** bag to rot in.

Just my opinion but if people are killing because of Jesus then they don't truly have Jesus living within them!

This is exactly it. I'm with you 100% here, Vikingdad. That doesn't excuse this behaviour but it helps explain it.

1996: Massacre in Dunblane school gym
A lone gunman has gone on a shooting spree at a school in Dunblane, Scotland, killing 16 children and their teacher.
The killer sprayed shots at random around the school gym in an attack that lasted just three minutes, but caused carnage in a class of five and six year olds. He then turned the gun on himself.

Obviously it didn't stop the next mass shooting.
I remember that incident, too. God bless our poor, innocent children who are defenseless and depend on us adults to keep them safe.

Think, could an armed parent stopped the situation?
Absolutely not. No amount of armed men and women could have stopped him without knowing he was coming. He was a suicidal man on a mission, and death didn't scare him.

1 gunman. One room. He had an audience, and nothing could have been done WITHOUT knowing he was there. Standard protocol for teachers when a gunman is IN THE ROOM is basically, throw yourself on him or her, and try to save the kids.

I have to blame the media for some of this. Every time they make a big sensational headline event out of it, it encourages more nut cases to do likewise. If they'd keep it on a local level there wouldn't be so many copycats.

Law Enforcement is not saying a word. However, you have the Wrong Stream Media (Including FOX) are throwing out what they are thinking it was.

I never have trust in news media!

CNN is saying that a .223 Bushmaster was found at the scene andother weapons Glock and Sig-sauer (Did not get models)
