Bush and Obama both like their Executive Orders. Obama may live in a bubble but he is not an idiot and he likes his power. He will only use an EO if he thinks he can get away with it. Anything that could be challenged or overturned may limit his power in the future.

If there is one thing Obama has done consistently it is to seek more control. He will not do anything that lessens his control. Not saying he won't try an EO or that we should not stay vigilant. I do think that it is a saber rattling threat without much likelihood.

Obama has many fights waiting in the wings, many considered more urgent by most Americans. You have to ask, is he willing to win this fight at the cost of the others? I doubt it, winning the gun control battle may cost him everything else and he knows it.

Things may be looking up. If you can afford it everyone please make an emergency contrabution to the lobbying arm of the pro-gun group of your choice, preferably the NRA-ILA since it is the largest and strongest. Make a contrabution even if you are not a member.

Amen. I sent $100 last week. but even if all you can afford is $10, it will help.

Hold the hell up lobby yes stand up for my rights hell no!!!! This is the problem ppl wanna put all the hopes on the NRA to hell with that stop sitting back and being a puppet Obama don't care you pay ppl to come talk about gun rights to him he cares about ppl liking him and everybody's to damn lazy to do anything for them selves stand up for your selves we don't have to start a revolution all we gotta do is say enough is enough
