I can't believe I'm saying this...but, Good thing I live in NY....at least I can keep my airsoft gun....

NY boasts one of the largest private airsoft clubs in the nation and we haven't had any trouble

Thank you very much, I appreciate any and all feedback...

c3shooter pointed me in the right direction and i'm currently redesigning its appearance...hopefully it'll be done tonight =)

It still amazes me that the media REFUSES to cover the fact that you can be put in prison for possessing certain air rifles

i've emailed, called, and prodded all of my local media, the NRA, and various other organizations until I can't do it any more, and they all refuse to cover it.

At first I thought maybe it's because i'm wrong...but then I re-read the way he has written his bill, and nope...i'm not wrong...and i'm not the only person saying this...many others have said the same...it's freaking amazing that the state is CHOOSING to look past it.

The IL governors "amendatory veto" was written into the 1970 IL Constitution. An attempt was made to remove the "amendatory veto" from the Constitution in about 1974 but voters turned it down.

The IL legislature has three options:
1. Confirm the amendatory language by a majority vote.
2. Veto the amendatory language by a 3/5 vote.
3. Do nothing: The governors "amendatory veto" goes into the trash bin of history.

IL residents on other boards say governors there do this stuff on a regular basis. They are saying there is very little chance of governor Quinn's "assault weapons ban" becoming law.

oh, i agree that it' snot going to happen, I even opened my analysis with that statement =)

But the fact that he's trying needs to be brought to light. People need to see how little these people care about representing us. If they don't mind sending you to prison for possession of a BB gun, why would you vote for them?

That was the idea behind my whole approach =)

(Im still working on my delivery...sometimes the ideas in my mind don't come out in the text...lol)

Excellent.
The NRA has taken notice of Quinn. So has the gun rights examiner. Hope scumbag Quinn is defeated come election time.
