Now here's a worthy "gun buyback" program. Perfect way to dispose of junk guns. You still get a gift card which can be used to buy a firearm, but it also goes towards a great cause

Best thing I've read about this scam is a group collects really trashed guns and turns them in . Then uses the proceeds to finance a kids shooting club ! >MW

Not so much like guns, more like "clunkers".

Q: What's the difference between guns and politicians?

A: Guns don't scream when you cut them in half...
Its not about you, dude.

It was a joke. It doesn't come across in the text I guess.

The NRA selling junk guns to the police for $100 a crack is a hoot! Doesnt get any better than that! Lets face it, this is a great investment, spend the whole year buying junk guns for a few bucks a piece, once a year sell them all to the cops, you invest a few hundred and collect a few thousand! Why bother working, this is a perfect gig. The BB gun thing is really the stupido move of the year, really, they pay 100 bucks for a BB gun when I can buy them all day long for 30 bucks brand new, thats a 250% profit without a whole lotta work involved!

Thats even better than the scumbags in New Orleans that took the FEMA cards to casinos, bought Gucci bags and drugs instead of feeding their families, at least this one comes with no guilt! I gotta see if I can convince Syracuse to do this regularly, nice vacation fund.

Who the hell dreams this stuff up, are they still in office, they deserve a raise??!! Do you wonder why were nearly broke and are running such a high deficit?

They were only paying $10 for BB guns. It was stated in the article. I think they ought to pay at least $40 for them though. Only $10 is liable to give them an inferiority complex!
