CCW Badge Good or Bad? That topic came out at the smoke shack due to an article. I can see it go both ways. What do you guys think? Pros? Cons?

If you're talking about a civilian CCW badge that must be displayed when you CC - NFW!!

I see no reason for a civilian to have a badge. If I wanted to display a shiny ting that said I have a gun...Well..I have a gun.

I think those badges confuse people into thinking a CCW person is an officer.

I am against it.

I interpret "concealed" as also meaning I don't want any evidence that I am carrying.

Not a good idea. The whole purpose of "concealed" carry is to NOT stand out in the crowd.

Agreed. The argument that was presented to me was "what if you engage against some BG & u run to assist LEO wouldn't you want a fast way to ID yourself... Specially when LEO backup arrives?" We'll I didn't have much to say to that... What do you guys think?
