To the "liberal" media, a law is only justified if it supports their agenda. Their agenda: To assist a corrupt government in getting complete control over the general public for the benefit of a few rich-and-powerful people who hide in the shadows. The pretended concern for the safety and well-being of "the masses" is just a baloney effort to fool voters into supporting the effort.
Stand-your-ground is a right we all have, not a priviledge to be issued conditionally by a government.
"Liberal" in the true sense just means to grant the government unlimited control over the people. It has nothing to do with charitable causes, as is pretended by the dirtbags who successfully fool many people into supporting them.

My understanding is that, early in the 20th century they called themselves progressives. Then like now they overreached to the point of being unpopular. They hijacked the liberal party which back then was libertarian. Now they are going back to the progressive name.
