Can you add a forum for Second Amendment cases?

Just a thought because I have a Second Amendment case with the potential to overturn UNITED STATES v MILLER 1939.

"HAMRICK v UNITED NATIONS, PRESIDENT BUSH, MICHAEL CHERTOFF, DHS, ADMIRAL THAD ALLEN, COMMANDANT COAST GUARD, et al., U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, Northern Division (Batesville), Case No. 1:06cv0044.

Case for National Open Carry Handgun.

Trial date is set for November 13, 2007 but the Motion to Dismiss is still pending.

For background information on my case visit my blog at:

I am not with any group. This lawsuit is my own. And I am without an attorney. Although, I did recently email Theodore Olson, former Solicitor General, U.S. Department of Justice, to represent me pro bono or on contengency fee basis (the law firm he works for does pro bono work).

Instead of a permanet sticky wouldn't a separate form for "Second Amendment cases' be more appropriate? (hint-hint).

I would suggest you send a P.M to user name notdku regarding your request, and let him decide if he will allow donations to be taken on this forum. He owns the site and has the final say on such matters. I will leave the contact information up for now and sticky this thread for the time being.

It is sad that the NRA will not support you, but then they have a history of compromising our rights away don't they? I am suprised the Second Amendment Foundation turned you away though. Did you contact the G.O.A with this? They are one of only two groups I belong to including the I.S.R.A, as I feel they are the only two groups worth giving my money to. Outside of this forum and others I don't know where else to tell you to go. There is a radio program called guntalk http://www.guntalk.com/site.php that deals with such issues. Perhaps you could get into contact with Tom to get your cause out over the air to fellow gun rights advocates. Hope I could be of some help to you, and keep up the fight.

Nate

If any problem on the solicitation for donations just delete that part of my post. I have the solicitation at my bog now with my latest court documents.

All the gun groups are aware of my case, GOA, JPFO, Second Amendment Sisters, etc. but are unable to help or are unwilling to hep for one reason or another. National Open Carry seems to scare the bejesus out of people.

Don

Would you be interested in doing an interview for my podcast? I have also in the past file a lawsuit on my own without the support of any national group.

What was the outcome of it and what was the suit in regards to?

What's a "podcast?" LOL.

Yeah! I would be interested. I have even thought about doing YouTube video updates but I don't have a video camera.

Thank you for adding my blog to the top of your side panel list of Gun Rights Blogs/Sites.

2nd amendment

I know what most courts have ruled on the meaning of the 2nd amendment, but I have never seen anyone view it from this prospective. The middle portion of the amendment specificly calls the keeping and bearing of arms by the people a right, meaning the [B]right does exist regardless of a courts ruling to deny it as applying to the people.
