I consider myself poor,
I have yet to commit a FIREARM crime.
Well,
a serious crime.

Many, if not all, state governments are run by people who consider themselves to be some kind of elite, "more worthy" class of people. The rest of us peons don't matter. They care not how many of us get robbed, mugged, raped, and killed. They make laws that set the wealthy, including themselves, above the "riff-raff", and afford themselves and the other rich people priviledges and security that is not available to us, if for no other reason than the cost of the security. The drive now to prevent the manufacture of inexpensive firearms is another way they can deny the poor the right to self defense.

Hmmm... Interesting question posed. I would have to say everything is relative. Then there's education, what political party one belongs to, etc. Sorry, but I'm confident there's a high correlation between poor people convicted of gun crimes and wealthy people who haven't been. Just sayin'... Gotta love statistics and numbers don't lie.

Used to be only men who had some property voted and then all citizens who were literate. Now illegal aliens who can't even speak english vote, early and often, and armed New Black Panthers intimidate voters at the polls w/the approval of the Justice Dept. When, where, would you prefer to live!?
