Crap like this is one reason I think it is not a good idea to list your firearms on your sig line.
just my .02 cents worth

I only have 2 firearms and thats all they need to know .
Keep your powder dry boys.
Things are gonna get rough.

Generally speaking, although not always, people who have been mentally evaluated have been evaluated for a reason.

As far as convicted felons possessing firearms, well, that's something you give up after a jury of your peers convicts you of a felony grade offense. Although I seriously doubt any shooting rampages will take place because someone who was driving drunk still owned a firearm, the DPRC kinda frowns on that.

Don't drink and drive or do drugs (or associate with those who do) if you want to keep your firearms. Seems pretty simple to me.

I'm actually 100% ok with them doing this to take away guns from violent felons..I don't really think a felony DUI warrants the loss of 2A rights, or that shrinks should call people unfit to own a firearm all willy-nilly, though

I learned, from this type of government overreach/violation of our individual civil rights, not to shrug my shoulders and say 'It won't happen here'!
I hope this will wake up some who are on the fence or on the wrong side of the fence, but I am not holding my breath.
An armed society is not always a polite society, but it is a free and safe society!
Self Defense is an absolute and natural right!
Keep your head down and your powder dry!

Most of the California citizens who are targeted by that task force have been found guilty of a felony and were ordered to turn over their guns. California has one of the most straignt forward systems in the country for identifying and classifying mental cases.

• Any person who is found by a court to be a danger to himself, herself, or others because of a mental illness
• Any person who is found by a court to be mentally incompetent to stand trial
• Any person who is found by a court to be not guilty by reason of insanity
• Any person who is adjudicated to be a mentally disordered sex offender
• Any person who is placed on a conservatorship because he or she is gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder, or an impairment by chronic alcoholism
• Any person who communicates a threat to a licensed psychotherapist against a reasonably identifiable victim, that has been reported by the psychotherapist to law enforcement
• Any person who is taken into custody as a danger to self or others under Welfare and Institutions Code section 5150, assessed under Welfare and Institutions Code section 5151, and admitted to a mental health facility under Welfare and Institutions Code sections 5151, 5152, or certified under Welfare and Institutions Code sections 5250, 5260, and 5270.15

Recon its alright if ya trust the court with your rights. But with all the liberals that are sitting on a bench, I don't trust them.
Socialism sucks
