Default Buying long gun from friend in NJ.

They both have a FID card and live in NJ. Is there anything that needs to be done like going through a dealer or something because I've heard mixed answers.

Handguns would be a problem. Long guns should be OK, so long as buyer and seller are both Jerseyites.

I suggest that you "bookmark" the site c3 gave you.
